I had made one mistake. I had forgotten to update the file. That problem is now cleared.
However, I am still challenged in making overrides to the original CSS, so I ended having to edit the original CSS itself, which I know is not the right thing to do

If you use google developer tool to find the CSS property, it will easy to customize.

You can also add the custom CSS into ForClover Options > Custom styles > Custom CSS field.
BY THE WAY, it’s a white style theme, I’ve not provide the option to change it to another color style, so if you change the background of the page, you may also need to change some other styles like text color, border color and so on, so generally, this is a customization issue.
